From the heavy percussions of Latin music to the Hip-Hop beats of the urban streets, Rivera’s sound is a musical landscape of who he is. It’s a working, living autobiography of the influences that have shaped his life as an Afro-Latino in the United States. It is about his love for creation, and blurring the lines that often pigeon hole the music community.

Whether fusing his Caribbean influences into a DJ set of classic house laced with jazzy snares and his signature live percussions, or melding the Afro-Cuban and Puerto Rican rhythms of Salsa, Bomba and Plena, into his original productions, Rivera’s take on house music is a reflection of art in its truest form.
